1. Indian Head Massage, Liss Ard Estate

Liss Ard Estate in Skibbereen, Co. Cork, Ireland, offers a unique, holistic 90-minute treatment in addition to traditional massage treatments such as Swedish Relaxation and Deep Tissue. The Indian Head treatment uses acupressure massage to release accumulated stress in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders. Indian Head massages are based on the Ayurvedic system of healing and the treatment is considered a method of cleansing and healing.

2. Tea Ceremony & Sound Bath, Liss Ard Estate

Also at Liss Ard Estate, The Tea Ceremony & Sound Bath is led by the resort's wellness practitioner Hayley and features local, medicinal tea blends, blended specifically for their needs, accompanied by the sound of crystal bowls for a holistic, body-mind therapy session. The magic of the herbs will encourage guests to relax and unwind, grounding them in the moment, while the sound of the crystal bowls takes them into complete body-mind therapy.

The vibrations of the bowls flow deeply through the body allowing cells to soften. Acupuncture during the Sound Bath is also available.

3. Lasapa Lelima Purification Treatment, The Spa at Pebble Beach

This transformative wellness journey at The Spa at Pebble Beach in Pebble Beach, California, is tied to cultural immersion crafted by an Esselen tribe member. This Native American-inspired service blends ancient traditions with modern wellness, tapping into Monterey County's rich healing energies and allowing spa-goers to explore a powerful wellness journey rooted in the 6,000-year history of the Rumsen and Esselen tribes.

This bathing experience transcends the ordinary, offering mental, physical and spiritual benefits. Guests are immersed in a sequence of revitalizing elements, from scrub and massage to a ritual cleansing with locally sourced coastal white sage. Rooted in authenticity, the locally grown sage and elderberry enhance the treatment's connection to the land, aligning with The Spa at Pebble Beach's commitment to cultural preservation and environmental stewardship.
