It has been well established that connecting with nature is an ideal way to promote good well-being. Here are three spas that are helping guests reap these benefits this fall in new and interesting ways, including uplifting aromatherapy, floatation, vibroacoustics, gemstones and more.

1. The Earth Experience

The Spa at Encore Boston Harbor has introduced this new treatment for the fall season. The Earth Experience is an aromatherapy body treatment that helps ground the client's mind and body as the weather starts changing. It is elevated by mood lifting notes of orange, mimosa and vanilla musk throughout.

First, the guests receives a stimulating body exfoliation with poppy seeds, packed with antioxidants and essential nutrients, followed by a skin brushing that promotes circulation and lymphatic drainage. Once the exfoliation has prepped the skin, a rich firming cream is applied and the guest is gently rocked before they are cocooned from shoulder to toe.

Next, the therapist performs a scalp massage and pressure point facial massage. Finally, a nourishing, aromatic body oil is massaged in, delivering firming and hydrating properties and sealing in the benefits of the treatment.

2. Pearl and Harmony

Stillwater Spa at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino just launched the Pearl and Harmony Wellness Experience for fall. It offers a choice between five 30-minute sessions in Stillwater Spa's flotation therapy orb (Pearl) and time on its vibroacoustic therapy mat (Harmony), providing pain and stress relief and encouraging a sense of calm.

The float orb provides a zero-gravity flotation experience, with a spacious 8-foot interior float length and a side opening that can be left open or closed depending on the guest's preference. They can also choose from multi-color LED lighting and soothing soundtracks to support their meditation.

The spa's biomat uses vibroacoustic therapy that deeply relaxes the joints and tissues like a massage. The comfortable mat is embedded with speakers that deliver low-frequency sound pulses.

Guests also receive a day pass that allows them to enjoy the resort’s amenities before and after Pearl and Harmony, resulting in total relaxation and better well-being. Amenities include an outdoor heated pool and whirlpools, oversized fireplaces in the spa’s relaxation areas, fitness center and virtual studio.

3. Cleanse + Reset Retreat

ADERO Scottsdale's new Cleanse + Reset Retreat is inspired by the Sonoran Desert’s spirituality. It includes several self-guided rituals for mind-body wellness:

  • Sound healing with crystal singing bowls,
  • Dynamic meditation,
  • Private sunrise yoga,
  • Amethyst and turquoise rain spa treatments using desert herbs and minerals,
  • In-room amenities like Pelotons, Muse Meditation devices, healing crystals and more,
  • Access to miles of trails for meditative desert bathing and earthing.
