BioPhotas, Inc. has announced an educational partnership with ChangeWell Training Academy, a San Diego-based training and development firm founded by Mark Tager, M.D., and Robert John Hughes. The partnership will bring personalized skin nutrition education to the aesthetic practitioner market through Changewell's 10-hour professional online training course—Inside Skin Beauty.

Inside Skin Beauty is based on Dr. Tager’s book "Feed Your Skin Right." The course provides steps practitioners can take to provide clients with a personalized, comprehensive skin beauty program that includes professional assessment, personalized diet, intelligent supplementation and biostimulation, including Celluma LED Light Therapy.

Celluma's FDA-approved and medically CE-marked light therapy devices help users achieve clear, smooth skin by soothing inflammation and rejuvenating the body at a cellular level. Celluma’s innovative shape-taking design allows for controlled targeted treatment anywhere on the body for improved skin tone and texture.

Dr. Tager said, “No two people have the same skin. A string of related scientific breakthroughs is making it possible for practitioners to deliver a program of truly personalized skin nutrition from the inside out and outside in. One of the key factors in creating naturally glowing and radiant skin is to promote mitochondrial health. The inside-out approach involves personalized diet and intelligent supplementation. But we can do even more from the outside in. Celluma Light Therapy leads the way with safe, effective devices that add the extra dimension of biostimulation to a personalized skin beauty program."

“In the same way that plants use chlorophyll to convert sunlight into energy, high-intensity light emitting diodes (LEDs) utilizing specific, proven wavelengths of light can trigger a natural bio-stimulatory effect in human tissue," said BioPhotas’ chief executive officer Patrick Johnson. "Research has shown that LED or phototherapy can increase circulation, accelerate tissue repair, kill acne bacteria, decrease inflammation, improve acne-prone skin, skin tone, texture and clarity, decrease undereye wrinkles as well as ease muscle and joint pain, stiffness, spasm and pain associated with arthritis. We are impressed with Dr. Tager’s Inside Skin Beauty course. We want to help make this available to our professional practitioners."
