“The Berkshire International Film Festival, lovingly known as BIFF, has become one of the most important in the country,” Iredale said. “It always includes powerful documentaries as well as new-release feature films. The added bonus is that it supports our local communities by bringing in thousands of people who shop and use the restaurants.”

Iredale celebrated by hosting a pre-opening night party at Louisa Ellis, a clothing and beauty boutique that serves as jane iredale’s flagship store. The evening included professional makeup artists offering “Red Carpet Ready” looks. Iredale also planned an evening of dinner and dancing for the festival’s opening night, held at Saint James Place. With luminaries like Christopher Plummer, John Carroll Lynch, Karen Allen, Steven Cantor, Sheila Nevins, David Edelstein and Paul Krugman in attendance alongside more than 40 filmmakers, this year’s BIFF was the largest and most successful to date.
“Since I used to be a film-maker, it’s a perfect connection personally and professionally,” Iredale said.
