Hyatt Hotels Corporation has appointed Patrick Huey as the director of global wellbeing operations. Huey has more than 20 years of global experience in the wellness and hospitality industries, most recently working as general manager at We Care Spa in California.

Huey's previous industry experience includes vice president of spa and retail for Montage International and group spa director in Asia for Minor Hotel Group. He also held spa leadership roles for Equinox and Four Seasons and served as corporate director for spa operations for the Viceroy Hotel Group and corporate director of spa for Sandals Resorts. Huey currently serves as the ISPA board chair.
Hyatt’s portfolio now includes more than 1,250 hotels and all-inclusive properties in 76 countries across six continents. Hyatt is best known in the wellness sector for its destination spa brand Miraval – which has just opened its fourth Life in Balance spa location in California.
