The new MyYogaTeacher app provides users with live, private and group yoga classes through their laptop, phone or tablet. The live sessions are taught by teachers who studied yoga at India’s most elite universities and schools.

The app's most popular feature, though, is that it offers two-way interaction between students and instructors. “The two-way communication is especially helpful to beginners, and to those struggling with their yoga practice or feeling ambivalent about pursuing one,” says cofounder and CEO Jitendra Gupta. “Many beginners are generally underserved by on-demand yoga platforms because the majority of classes are pre-recorded, not live, and even when classes are live-streamed, the teacher cannot help advise, guide or correct the student because they are not set up to see their students live.”

MyYogaTeacher has more than 100,000 registered US students and provides more than 1 million minutes of live interactions each month. Private and group sessions are available at all levels and different durations: 30, 60 or 90 minutes.
