A nature economy is on the rise in this post-pandemic era. The Global Wellness Institute (GWI) predicts that the increasing nature immersion experience will soon become a imperative to the wellness experience.
"The physical and emotional toll the virus has taken, especially in urban areas with little green space, has galvanized doctors, researchers and others to tap into nature’s therapeutic effects," said a professor of environmental science at Stanford University.
According to the GWI, the commercial sector is now looking at ways to monetize this new nature economy, as it did for mental health a few years ago; eventually, technology will allow companies to harness the power of nature for profit.
