Location: San José Del Cabo, Mexico
The Lowdown:
Situated on a private crescent cove beach, the Paradisus Los Cabos is a recently renovated, all-inclusive resort with sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez. Stretching over 18 acres of land, the resort offers highlights such as a personalized butler service, family concierge, the Live Enriching Experience program and the Yhi Spa. Featuring seven restaurants and seven bars, dining options range from contemporary Mexican cuisine to Japanese fusion. The 435 square-feet guest rooms and suites come with modern conveniences such as mini bars, 50-inch flat-screen TVs and a balcony or terrace.
Standout Features:
The Paradisus Los Cabos’ signature Yhi Spa is a 6,000 square-foot facility with six spa cabins, two of which are beachside and outfitted for couples’ treatments; plus a beauty parlor, steam room, sauna, men’s and women’s locker rooms and a ludic (sensory) pool. All spa treatments begin with a signature water ritual, during which cold-water jets are aimed at specific areas of the body. For relaxation, sauna and steam rooms are infused with thyme, eucalyptus, rosemary and other natural fragrances. From the menu, guests can indulge in signature treatments like the South Baja Special Ritual (180 min./$395), a full-body exfoliation, antioxidant body wrap, 50-minute massage and express pedicure. The Yhi Spa also offers kid-friendly services such as strawberry facials, hair braiding and a Princess Day package that encompasses a spa chocolate manicure and pedicure followed by a foot massage and sweet treats.
