Alice Lightfoot, spa manager at Champneys, and Heather Whitt, professional astrologer at The Alchemy Co., have revealed their picks for the perfect spa treatments based on each star sign. Lightfoot and Whitt paired these treatments based on the characteristics and element that each sign possesses. 

Aries

The best treatment for anyone with the Aries (March 21 - April 19) star sign is a sports massage. "Aries is a very energetic sign and the best way for them to release tension is to do something active. What's more, being ruled by Mars, the planet of war, they're the bravest of the signs and not afraid to feel the burn," explains Whitt. A deep tissue sports massage helps relieve aches and pains for any Aries. 

Taurus

Taurus (April 20 - May 20) is a lover of serene environments and soothing aromas, so a facial perfectly fits their spa needs. As an earth sign, they are in tune with their senses and love surrounding themselves with luxurious scents and textures. Therefore, superfood facials full of rich ingredients, minerals and trace elements are especially great for any these guests. 

Gemini

Since Geminis (May 21 - June 20) are social butterflies who love to talk with their hands, manicures are the ideal way to help them express a new side of their personality. Whitt explains that each astrological sign rules a different part of the body, and Geminis specifically rule the hands and arms. 

Cancer

Cancers (June 21 - July 22) are known to be sensitive and take on others' problems. The goal in this case is to help them unwind and relax, so a calming yoga class is perfect for them. Yoga classes fit these guests' desire for intimate settings where they feel a one-on-one connection, and the practice allows them to release their pent-up emotions. 

Leo

Any Leo (July 23 - August 22) loves to be pampered, so their treatments should be extra luxurious. An indulgent wrap is great for this fire sign, because it provides luxe vibes and cocoons them in a veil of conditioning body butter. It's important for air signs like Libras to switch off the mind for a while, which is exactly what a relaxing hot stone massage can do. "With Libra being the sign that rules the spine, this is an ideal treatment to restore peace and harmony in the mind and body," explains Whitt. 

Scorpio

Scorpios (October 23 - November 21) love intrigue and are often depicted as mysterious signs. Therefore, they require a modern spa treatment, such as a salt and oxygen chamber. This treatment provides Scorpios with much needed alone time, especially when their emotions are getting the better of them; it's an immersive experience that allows them to detox their body and mind. 

Sagittarius

Sagittarius signs (November 22 - December 21) often seek self-improvement and want to experience new adventures. For them, a brand new workout—the ability to work on self-improvement and socialize—is a double win. 

Capricorn

Whitt explains that Capricorns (December 22 - January 20) are known for being sensible and responsible, and they often hold the weight of others' problems. To relieve tension and unwind, they would benefit from a full body massage. More specifically, Swedish techniques will help work out those muscle knots and areas of tension. 

Aquarius

As one of the most spiritual signs of the zodiac, Aquarius (January 21 - February 18) is never afraid to try innovative, new things, so a crystal treatment is an ideal fit for this star sign. "As a lover of humanity and personal freedom, the weight of the world's problems can sometimes weigh an Aquarius down," says Whitt, adding that crystal treatments can help this star sign get out of their own head and find peace and relaxation. 

Pisces

Pisces (February 19 - March 20) are considered the most romantic star sign, and they are prone to fantasizing about their life. Flotation therapy is a great way to help this star sign escape and allow them ample time to dream big. This flotation treatment also allows them to relax into weightlessness, and as a water sign, they'll feel right at home.
