Located in sunny Palm Springs at a former 1950s Hollywood hot spot where stars like Jimmy Stewart and Henry Wilcoxon once stayed, Spa Las Palmas at Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa is a go-to for those in need of an oasis getaway. The 20,000-square-foot spa is comprised of 26 treatment rooms and offers some 50 wellness options, including massages, facials and bath soaks infused with locally sourced cactus, dates and honey. The facility rounds out with a dry sauna, steam room, whirlpools, aromatherapy showers, relaxation lounges and a serene pool area.

Business Savvy
The spa attracts a mix of locals and vacationers, as well as country club members visiting the hotel’s 27-hole golf course. To encourage repeat bookings, monthly email blasts highlight specials, plus frequent exclusives just for country club members. Twice a year, the spa hosts events during which nearby residents and hotel guests can experience mini treatments, vendor demonstrations, light bites and more. “This way, guests who haven’t been to our spa before can try out a couple of services, making it more likely that they’ll book something in the future,” says spa director Monica Donato.

Signature Services
With more than 130 golf courses and plenty of hiking trails across the Palm Springs area, it’s no wonder a growing favorite for spa-goers is the CBD Pain Relieving Massage (add-on service/$35)—a custom spot treatment designed to ease aches, reduce inflammation and soothe tired muscles. “This is a trending offering because
guests feel a noticeable sense of relief, thanks to the massage techniques and CBD-infused oil and creams,” says Donato. The massage is also a good option for clients suffering from chronic pain, as the CBD loosens muscles and helps promote healing. “Guests leave feeling deeply relaxed and with a complete sense of comfort in previously painful and tense problem areas,” adds Donato.
