Spa and wellness consultancy and management firm WTS International has appointed Todd Walter as its new president. Walter previously held the position of CEO of Mynd Spas & Salons—overseeing 25 spas and 1,300 employees—and in this new role he will oversee WTS International’s portfolio of facilities, among other responsibilities. He will report to the company’s CEO and founder Gary Henkin.
“Todd’s leadership will be instrumental in driving our evolution. His high energy and passion are matched by his breadth of experience across spa and wellness facility operations, people management, and building a scalable organization,” says Henkin. “We believe that the wellness industry is expanding rapidly as consumers place an increased focus on health and well-being, driving properties from the hospitality industry to the residential industry to focus on delivering high-quality wellness amenities and facilities. Todd has the right DNA to help us scale and create incredible wellness facility experiences for our clients.”
“Increasingly, high quality wellness facilities are key to attracting consumers and differentiating the property, whether within hospitality, residential, or otherwise,” adds Walter. “Gary and the leadership team have created a company culture that is about trust, respect and teamwork, and I’m thrilled to be part of it.”
