Just in time for the 2015 awards season, the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills unveiled its new Nail Suite last week.

Located near the spa on the hotel’s fourth floor, the suite is actually a fully converted guest room, although you’d never know it. The soothing gold- and cream-hued space features custom-glass mosaic treatment bowls and manicure tables with custom floral glass pattern etching designed to give a nod to the rich history of the hotel owner, Robert Cohen, in the flower industry. It’s also an homage to the hotel’s al fresco ambience (talking of which, one detail that does survive from the room’s previous incarnation is a balcony with swoon-worthy views over Downtown L.A. and the Hollywood Hills.)

The brains behind the look is SoCal-based spa designer Raad Ghantous & Associates—also responsible for Spa Gregorie’s latest location in Rancho Santa Margarita—who credits “the rich infused energy of art, creativity and the elegance of Hollywood” as his inspiration. Ghantous has provided plenty of talking points in the new layout, not least the ceiling’s handcrafted stainless starburst chandelier with multi-colored jewel tones.

With an intimate-yet-spacious feel, the open-plan room boasts four pedicure stations and two manicure stations with plush seating and comfy cushions that allow for lounging and chatting—perfect for bridal and birthday parties, according to the hotel’s general manager Mehdi Eftekari.

The extensive menu of nail services features SpaRitual’s vegan polishes, including its current Award Season Collection. With names such as Star Quality, The Manicure Goes To, After Party, Outstanding Performance and Step and Repeat and, our chosen hue for our perfectly executed pedicure on opening night, the glamorously gold Make an Entrance.
