yoga-vancouver[Image: Getty Images]During the month of May hundreds of Canadians in British Columbia will challenge themselves to sweat-it-out for 31 days.

The 2017 Workout to Conquer Cancer is a month-long fitness challenge raising funds for the BC Cancer Foundation and ground breaking cancer research at the BC Cancer Agency.

Participants just have to follow three simple instructions to participate.

  1. Register – Sign up, create a team and recruit friends or join an existing team.
  2. Fundraise – Set up and online fundraising page and start fundraising.
  3. Workout – Exercise ever day for the month of May!

As a Workout participant everyone will have access to a wide range of drop-in fitness classes offered by designated workout partners. Registered entrants can schedule and sample classes including yoga, spin, Zumba and barre, and on days entrants can’t make a class, they are encouraged to go for a run, bike ride or hike.

By signing up for Workout to Conquer Cancer, participants will not only improve their health and fitness, they will also show a meaningful commitment to support over 27,000 British Columbians who will be diagnosed with cancer this year.
