Miki Hirakawa Joins Grand Hyatt Vail as Spa Director

Grand Hyatt Vail Expands Team with Resort Veteran Miki Hirakawa as Spa Director
In her new role, Hirakawa will run all aspects of the spa including ensuring guest satisfaction for the highest quality spa experience.

Grand Hyatt Vail announced the appointment of Miki Hirakawa as the facility's spa director. Hirakawa is a seasoned spa executive, and will provide expertise, leadership and enthusiasm to the resort spa. 

In her new role, Hirakawa will run all aspects of the spa including ensuring guest satisfaction for the highest quality spa experience, curating the selection of beauty and wellness treatments and leading strategic growth initiatives within the spa. 

Hirakawa is joining the Grand Hyatt Vail with more than 18 years of spa experience within the global Hyatt Hotels team. She started her Hyatt career at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki as a licensed esthetician, and then moved on to the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa for corporate management training.

In 2013, Hirakawa transitioned to Hyatt Key West where she spent her time as the spa and concierge manager, and was later moved up to assistant spa director for Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach. 

The spa veteran also has previous experience in the industry as the spa director across Hyatt properties nationwide and internationally including Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, Exhale Spa at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa.
