What’s the best career decision you’ve ever made?
Returning to school to complete my MBA. My undergraduate degree was in human kinetics, and after graduating I worked for a marketing company that focused on managing events. I loved the role’s fast pace and on-the-spot problem solving, but after two years I felt it was time to get more business-specific training. I’m so glad I did it as it prepared me for my current position.

What would you do differently if you could start all over again?
I wouldn’t worry about what I was going to be when I grew up. I truly believe that all things happen for a reason and if you’re open-minded to experiences, opportunities will present themselves when you least expect them!

What’s on your bucket list?
Taking a trip with my husband to the Maldives to relax on a beautiful beach with a good book and no cell phone!
How do you unwind?
My favorite thing is to take our two daughters in their stroller with me on a long run. The girls love the fresh air, and it gives me time to organize my thoughts and prepare for the day. I also love flying! I grew up in an aviation family and received my private pilot license when I was 18 years old. There’s nothing more exciting than going for a flight with my dad and brother to escape the daily grind!
