The Spa of Kukui’ula: Your Wellness Spa

Wellness

Even among Hawaii’s world-class resorts, The Spa at Kukui’ula on the Garden Isle of Kauai is a standout. The 25,000-square-foot, plantation style property includes six private indoor/outdoor treatment suites appointed with a dreamy daybed, shower and soaking tub; and extensive fitness facilities including a private exercise lawn, 25-meter lap pool and movement studio.

In keeping with the open-air design, the locker area is outside and boasts showers, lava rock saunas, a steam room, hot and cold plunge pools, a whirlpool and lounge chairs. The spa’s indulgent menu encompasses facials, massages and body treatments, each preceded by a Seven Step Wet Ritual that incorporates a metabolism-revving ginger tonic, kukui nut oil scrub and refreshing outdoor shower. Another highlight: the spa’s garden, meticulously divided into sections of plants used in teas, juices and aromatherapy services, as well as a dessert area dotted with cacao trees and vanilla orchids.
