Forget the “no pain, no gain” mantra – 2025 is all about moving smarter, not harder. Lia Bartha, creator of B The Method, is leading the charge with a sustainable fitness philosophy that helps future-proof the body. Think low-impact workouts with big results: stronger muscles, better posture and a pain-free life.

Here’s how Lia is designing fitness programming for longevity and resilience:

  • Core Confidence: A stable core is the spine’s best friend – goodbye back pain, hello perfect posture.
  • Move Freely, Live Fully: Prioritize mobility over flexibility to keep joints happy and moving with ease.
  • Strength That Works IRL: Functional training to help with better balance and staying injury-free.
  • Cardio Without the Crunch: Low-impact options that are kind to the joints while keeping the heart strong.
  • Recovery = Results: Restorative practices that combat inflammation and set the body up for success.

With the rise of wellness trends like intuitive fitness and a shift away from high-impact workouts, many are eager to learn how they can stay strong and flexible without risking burnout or injury. We spoke with the fitness pro on her creative method and what it can do for longevity.

1. WellSpa 360 (WS): Can you tell our readers about your sustainable fitness philosophy?

Lia Bartha (LB): The foundation of my philosophy is three-fold. First and foremost, B The Method is a low-impact exercise program. Low-impact means that the workouts are gentle on your joints and are designed for any age and fitness level. Second is, results come from variety. Without variety, you'll eventually plateau. The variety of movement ensures that your body is always working different muscles. And, last but not least, is FORM! If you're not moving properly, with the guidance of a trained professional, you not only won't see results, but you're highly susceptible to serious injuries.

2. WS: What are your top recommendations for future-proofing your body for 2025?

LB: I think I may have answered this in my sustainable fitness philosophy, so I'll just say the absolute best way to future-proof your body in 2025 is to join B The Method.

3. Why is it important to build fitness resilience without risking burnout?

LB: Burnout is similar to a physical injury in that it will set you back both physically and mentally. Consistency is the key, but rest days are just as important. Fitness should never be a means to an end because it never ends. Once you incorporate a routine into your everyday life, you'll see exponential improvements that will touch every part of your life.
