1. Body Bliss Collaborates with Alila Ventana Big Sur on Luxe Bath Burst Couples Ritual
Body Bliss Intentional Aromatherapy announced a new collaboration with Alila Ventana Big Sur to provide products and rituals for Intertwined Essence, a unique, personalized in-spa bath service designed specifically for couples. This bespoke experience allows guests to choose from four distinct Luxe Bath Burst options—Lavender, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, or Orange—and combine them in a copper soaking tub for two, creating a ritual of togetherness.
The Luxe Bath Burst couples experience will take place in Alila Ventana's outdoor cabanas, featuring hammered copper soaking tubs overlooking the redwood forest. Following the bath, couples can enjoy massages that incorporate the combined aroma, further enhancing the sensory journey. Michael Jastrzebski, who joined the property in January 2024, is the visionary behind the new aromatherapy ritual, stressing the spa's commitment to crafting meaningful experiences for couples.
"I wanted our guests to deepen their connection and come together in a symbolic way. Each guest chooses from four distinct aroma profiles, which are elegantly presented. The couple then pours the Bath Bursts into the tub together, symbolizing unity and creating a custom aromatherapy blend specific to them," said Jastrzebski.
Jeff Winter, a longtime Body Bliss account manager specializing in new development, worked with Jastrzebski to create the back bar products, suggesting scents that would resonate with guests and the intentions behind them. The two met at the 2024 ISPA Conference and made plans to take the Body Bliss/Alila Ventana partnership to new heights.

2. Soake Pools x Tomu’s Wellness-Centered Partnership
Soake Pools, a renowned New England-based plunge pool manufacturer, is partnering with Tomu, an innovative prefabricated lodging builder. Additionally, Tomu’s Villas and Soake Pools’ plunge pools share identical subcontractor needs—excavation, electrical, plumbing, and exterior finishes—making coordination seamless and straightforward. The similar, sustainable construction, delivery, and installation method shortens on-site build time, allowing projects to open and operate sooner.
