Two of the most luxurious spas in southern California—Glen Ivy Hot Springs and The Ritz-Carlton Spa—have announced special holiday-themed spa and wellness offerings and gifts that run through the holiday season. The specials include seasonal spa treatments and bundled, gift card sales and special giveaways.

1. The Wellness Celebration Package
Glen Ivy Hot Springs is offering a Wellness Celebration Package ($200) that is only available Monday through Thursday. The package includes either a 50-minute Aromasoul massage or Nourishing Classic facial, along with access to Glen Ivy’s facilities including Club Mud, a cozy robe, hot chocolate or hot apple cider, and a fresh-baked cookie from GOCO Cafe.
The property is also promoting three spa retail bundles: The Mask Duo, Signature Trio and Body Trio. The Mask Duo ($30) includes a hydrating Grotto mask and detoxifying mud mask. The Signature Trio($55) includes Glen Ivy’s signature lavender eucalyptus shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. The Body Trio ($62) exfoliates and hydrates winter-worn skin with a lavender eucalyptus body wash, body lotion and sugar scrub.
2. Peppermint Hot Chocolate Ritual
The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Los Angeles, has a new collection of festive treatments this season. For starters, the Peppermint Hot Chocolate Ritual (80 min./$320) consists of an energizing peppermint back and foot scrub, followed by a Nano gold collagen face mask and luxurious full body chocolate crème massage to deeply hydrate the skin.
The treatment can be enhanced with a hot chocolate stone massage ($35) that uses chocolate oils and heated basalt stones to relax knotted muscles and rejuvenate the holiday spirit.
3. Let it Glow Facial
Also at The Ritz-Carlton, the Let it Glow Facial (50 min./$235) uses the healing benefits of chocolate to nourish skin, plus a diamond hydro-gel mask to promote collagen and elasticity. The aromatic, moisturizing treatment leaves the complexion glowing and ready for holiday festivities.
4. Peppermint Pedicure
The Ritz-Carlton Spa's Peppermint Pedicure (45 min./$100) begins with a soak in fragrant essential oils to relieve tense muscles and soothe tired feet, followed by a peppermint mask and gentle massage, finishing with a nail polish of the guest’s choice.
5. Sweeten the Season Spa Package
Finally, the Sweeten the Season Spa Package (170 min./$585) includes all of the above Ritz-Carlton Spa treatments, along with seasonal macarons to take home.
