The Spa at Chileno Bay Resort & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection in Los Cabos, Mexico, has introduced a healing cactus and aloe spa treatment, called the Kayaumari Restorative Ritual.

The new treatment encourages guests to welcome in autumn while releasing negative energy. The ritual is inspired by the indigenous Huichol of Mexico and the destination's natural contrasts.

The ritual begins with a petition to Tatewari to banish negativity in the mind and bring peace and serenity. Next, a nourishing, moisturizing cactus and aloe mask is applied all over the body, focusing on trigger healing points that will unblock the energy channels and balance the mind.

Finally, an invigorating massage with the spa's signature body oil stimulates blood flow to increase the body’s energy. This is believed to transport guests to Wirikuta, a sacred territory of the Huichols where the universe was created.

The holistic spa features a range of healing elements that are included in treatments, including a refreshing mist alcove, salt inhalation room and reflexology pool.
