Hôtel Lyon Métropole has revealed the $1.1 million expansion of the Spa Lyon Plage.
At more than 80,000 square feet, the new Spa Lyon Plage is now the largest city spa in France. Features include an indoor pool, an outdoor Olympic pool, outdoor hydro-massage course, exclusive Iyashi area, hammams, saunas, sanariums, foot baths, stalagmite ice fountain and infrared armchairs. The Grotto is a mineral and refined pool equipped with waterfalls, hydro-massage jets and bubble beds.
The new coaching room offers numerous sports activities supervised by state-certified teachers: Pilates, cross training, body shape, yoga, Swiss ball class, stretching and more. A biking room and two badminton courts have also been added to the cardio training and weight training rooms, private coaching rooms and the existing outdoor tennis court.
There's also a new space entirely dedicated to well-being and beauty treatments, including Cinq Mondes massages, treatments and rituals; Shiseido treatments; and LPG face and body treatments.
