Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club has announced Avigale LaGraas as its new director of spa and wellness of the Waldorf Astoria Spa. Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is a beachfront resort property on the California coast.
LaGrass is a spa industry veteran with over 20 years of experience. She is educated in holistic nutrition, a NASM-certified personal trainer, Pilates instructor, TRX trainer and licensed massage therapist. Previously, she held positions as director of wellness at Turtle Bay Resort’s Nalu Spa and director of spa & fitness operations at Loews Coronado Bay Resort in Coronado, California, in addition to several other spa leadership roles .
At the Waldorf Astoria Spa, LaGrass will oversee day-to-day operations, evolve the spa menu and create new treatment offerings, adding to the property's reputation for curated experiences and results-based clinical treatments.
