The Global Wellness Institute (GWI) has released “The Global Wellness Economy: Country Rankings,” a research report full of information on national wellness markets, including which countries spend the most per capita on wellness.
According to the report, the average annual consumer spend on wellness is the highest in the very wealthiest economies. Globally, the wellness market represents 5.1% of total GDP, so roughly $1 of every $20 spent by consumers is on wellness.
