As a pioneering force in the wellness technology sector, Therabody has made yet another impactful stride. The company has launched "Therabody, for Her," an initiative tailored to boost women's well-being across four pivotal life stages: mental well-being, menstruation, motherhood, and menopause, abbreviated as the "Four Ms".
In a bid to address the unique health challenges women face throughout their lifetime, Therabody is offering support through comprehensive education, innovative products, strategic partnerships and groundbreaking research. These measures go beyond mere conversations into action, echoing the call that women's health issues that have long been overlooked now deserve undivided attention and real solutions.
The glaring lack of representation of women in scientific studies, with women making up less than 40% of study participants even today, represents an area of critical concern. Therabody, for Her, steps forth to address this issue head-on; science acts as the bedrock of the program’s approach to product innovation.

Therabody's commitment to this cause is evident in the company’s research grant program, which has already awarded initial grants to scientists working on symptoms that disproportionately affect women. This builds on the company’s earlier efforts to fund research proving the efficacy of their PowerDot product in reducing menstrual pain by 25%.
"Women deserve better health solutions and more visibility to help manage their complex and varying needs. And we will use our commitment to science and technological innovation to better support improved well-being for women," said Monty Sharma, Therabody president and CEO.
Therabody, for Her, plans to initiate open discussions around women's unique health issues linked to each of the four M's and provide easy-to-integrate wellness and behavior tips. A new video content series featuring one-on-one talks with thought leaders in women's health is also part of this package.
