9,688 venues signed up on wellmap.org in 155 countries to celebrate the eighth edition of World Wellness Weekend, from sunrise in Fiji on Friday, September 20, until sunset in Maui on Sunday, September 22.
Professionals in hospitality, tourism, fitness, spa and beauty have joined forces to raise awareness about healthy lifestyles and promote #WellnessForAll. "Wellness For All" includes staff, local residents and under-served communities - not just clients and members.
This is a 54% increase compared to 2023 (6,300 venues), with over one thousand new sign-ups in the last four weeks leading to the event. All venues joined via wellmap.org in 18 languages, allowing them to appear on a map with a geolocator, and showcase their activities and contact details, encouraging locals and visitors to join fun, free and inclusive activities with friends, families and colleagues.
