1. Circadia Wins Best Business Performance Second Year in a Row

Circadia has once again been awarded the ABIA Best Business Performance - Product/Equipment 2024 at the Australian Beauty Industry Awards (ABIA). This marks the second consecutive year that Circadia has earned this annual accolade.

The ABIA gala was held on Sunday, August 25th, at The Star in Sydney, where over 600 of Australia’s most influential beauty professionals gathered, celebrating the best in beauty, skin and medical aesthetics. With over 30 local and international judges, ranging from experts in finance, PR, marketing, and aesthetics, the ABIAs celebrate beauty and medical aesthetics across numerous categories. Circadia Australia, led by Rachael Stevens, was recognized as one of the standout winners of the night for its outstanding business performance in the product and equipment category.

2. Hand & Stone Launches Public Learning Management System for Massage Therapy 

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa announced the launch of its public Learning Management System (LMS), a platform that manages educational lectures, training programs and learning and development courses. This initiative offers free select courses for continued education requirements for all licensed massage therapists, not just those employed by the brand.

“We are excited to offer this resource to the broader massage community,” said Nathan Nordstrom, senior director of training and industry relations at Hand & Stone. “Our goal is to provide high-quality educational opportunities that support professional development for all licensed massage therapists, regardless of their affiliation with Hand & Stone. By making these courses available for free, we hope to create an environment of continuous learning and improvement in the industry. This is an introduction to the comprehensive learning available to Hand & Stone employees nationwide.”

3. The Lira Clinical Team is On A Purely Clinical Tour

MY SALON Suite announced that it has been awarded the Franchise Customer Experience Certification. This certification, administered by the Franchise Customer Experience Institute, is awarded to franchise brands that demonstrate superior practices leading to enhanced franchise profitability via exceptional franchisee and consumer experiences.
