Beauty brand Alleyoop officially completed its B Corporation Certification on Nov. 7, 2022. This major accomplishment for the company comes after its commitment to maintaining sustainable practices since its inception in 2019.
Alleyoop's sustainability values include:
- Designing multi-purpose products that do more than one thing, resulting in less packaging, materials and overall waste;
- Leveraging responsibly sourced, lab grown ingredients;
- Upcycled and waterless formulas;
- Packing that includes post-consumer recyclable plastic, refillable components and biodegradable materials.

Through its partnership with CleanHub, Alleyoop has helped prevent 21,135 pounds of plastic from entering oceans, equating to more than 200,000 plastic bottles.
The company is also women founded and led, with more than 75% of leadership identifying as female and over 60% of workers are minorities and women.
