Color Up has launched an educational track and scholarship program: the Cannabis Master Program for the Wellness Professional, which has three tracks designed for yogis, fitness instructors, nutritionists, holistic practitioners and more. The wellness course focuses on the natural benefits of incorporating CBD into professional and personal practices.
The program is self-led, and online. It includes the brand’s core classes on the history of cannabis, modern day uses and the science behind its partnership with the endocannabinoid system. The program is led by Color Up president of education Emily Davis, LE, and vice president of education Liz Aigner, LMT, LE, CYT.
New classes include:
- Compassion, Connection & CBD: The Central Nervous System Response
- Cough, Cold & Flu: Can Cannabinoids Help Us Heal?
- Social Phobias & CBD
- Athletes, Weekend Warriors & CBD
- Insomnia & CBD
- CBD & Traveling
Those who successfully complete the track will receive a certificate of attendance, and a special rate is available to those who register through the end of this year.
In addition, Color Up is offering four scholarships to LEs and LMTs looking to enroll in the program. Two partial scholarships (50%) and two full scholarships (for one LE and one LMT) are available for the Master Course, and scholarship recipients will receive a complimentary Skincare Retail Starter Kit or Massage Retail Kit. The deadline for scholarship entries is Sept. 30, 2020. Recipients will be announced Oct. 7, 2020.
