World Wellness Weekend Announces aWWWards Recipients + Record Participant Numbers
A total of 139 countries and 5,000 venues around the world took part in World Wellness Weekend, with on-site or online activities organized for guests.

The sixth annual World Wellness Weekend (WWW) took place this September 16 to 18, 2022. A total of 139 countries and 5,000 venues around the world took part in the events, with on-site or online activities organized for guests. 

The annual nonprofit celebration inspired and empowered millions of people to experience fun, free and inclusive wellness activities with friends and family. The top five categories of venues for this year's event included: vitality, holistic, beauty, hospitality and longevity specialists. The top five types of activities included: movement, mindfulness, massage, outdoors and yoga.

  1. Brazil: Most active country in the world with 509 venues and 715 activities.
  2. Spain: Most active country in Europe with 464 venues and 725 activities.
  3. Marbella: Most active city in Europe with 221 venues and 337 activities. 
  4. Dominican Republic: Most active country in the Caribbean with 120 venues and 300 activities.
  5. Punta Cana: Most active city In the Caribbean with 31 venues and 40 activities.
  6. Val Di Fiemme: Most active Valley in the world.

  1. Jerez: Second most active city in Spain with 86 venues and 120 activities.
  2. Gran Canaria: Most active island with 77 venues and 158 activities.
  3. Niederbronn Les Bains: Most active city in France with 53 venues and 53 activities.
  4. Odawara: Most active city in Japan with 26 venues and 26 activities.
  5. Winnipeg: Most active city in Canada with 19 venues and 24 activities.
