What was your first job in the spa industry?
I started as a spa group coordinator at the Westin Diplomat & Country Club in Hallandale, Florida, where I assisted groups with their spa block. It was a great foundation and introduction to the spa world.
What is your favorite memory of working in the industry?
It is very difficult to pick one of the many unforgettable moments I have experienced. However, I would say that attending the ISPA Conference, where so many leaders from all over the world gather to recharge and are eager to share best practices and successful stories, is inspiring. My favorite moments are during the general sessions, where remarkable keynote speakers bring thousands of attendees to tears while they share their personal inspirational stories. The positive energy and vibes are so transformative and well received.
What do you love about spa and wellness?
The fact that we can positively affect our guests through our therapeutic and holistic spa offerings makes me extremely happy and fulfilled.
What new wellness trends do you find the most exciting?
I find mindfulness, blue zone diets and fitness for longevity the most exciting trends in wellness. I’ve learned through my work that everyone would like to have a healthier and longer quality of life.
What’s the first thing you do after a long day at work?
I light an aromatic candle, play relaxing spa music, shower and reflect on what I could do better the next day.

What’s your favorite wellness treatment to receive?
I love the Organic Ginger Healing Body Renewal. This ritual includes mineral-rich ingredients combined with healing ginger to exfoliate the skin. I relax in a moisture-infused cocoon wrap and enjoy a back, neck, shoulder, scalp and foot massage. Every time I receive this treatment, I feel like I’ve been reborn—like a blooming flower.
What’s your greatest accomplishment?
At a professional level, my greatest accomplishment is transforming a team through training and development to perform at an exceptional level.
What advice do you have for someone just getting started in the industry?
Follow your passion and do what makes you happy.
What’s one thing you can’t leave the house without?
My Hydro Flask bottle of water with ice and lemon juice.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Dark chocolate with frozen berries after dinner.
Who or what inspires you?
My family, friends and Louise Hayes’ meditations. I also receive great inspiration from grateful and humble people around me.
How do you practice self-care?
I meditate every morning and do yoga as often as I can to effectively recharge my mind, body and spirit.
What is on your bucket list?
I want to continue traveling and experiencing new cultures and wellness trends around the world. Specifically, I want to learn more about longevity in the blue zones.
